Not to mention he is fun and wants everyone to have the best experience possible!
  • Are your bikes insured?
All of our motorcycles are completely insured. Every participant must have additional personal medical and repatriation insurance. Before traveling to Morocco, check with your local insurance firm that they cover motorcycle trips.
  • Is the tour open to non-riders as well?
Indeed we can accommodate non-riders. However, the space is limited in the support vehicle. To ensure availability and learn about special pricing, kindly inquire in advance.
  • What is the best time of year for a motorcycle tour in Morocco?
Anytime! That's the beauty of Morocco, it's sunny stable weather nearly 365 days of the year (nearly if we are lucky enough to get some much needed rain!) provides for some great riding conditions. However, we love the cooler months of September to June when the weather is milder and more pleasant for riding.
  • What type of motorcycles will we be using on the tour?
Adventure, dual-sport, or touring motorcycles with good suspension, ample ground clearance, and appropriate tires are the best due to Morocco's varying road conditions. That's why we use a range of BMW GS motorcycles for the best experience. Available for rent are 750 GS, 850 GS, 1200 GS and 1250 GS.
  • Can I bring my own motorcycle for the tour?
Yes, you can bring your own motorcycle, but make sure to check local regulations and customs procedures for importing vehicles. Although renting a motorcycle with GOAT Motorcycle Tours is the easier option!
  • What should I pack for the tour?
Pack appropriate riding gear (also available for rent), your motorcycle driving license, layers for varying temperatures, sunscreen, necessary medications, and a copy of important documents such as your passport and license.
  • Is it safe to ride a motorcycle in Morocco?
Riding in Morocco is safe, but like any travel, caution is needed. Follow local traffic rules, wear protective gear, and stay aware of your surroundings. We may have the occasional interaction with police but they are generally respectful and usually only ask that you pay a small ticket fee if you are caught driving above the speed limit.

Canceling inside of 40 days before your trip will forfeit your deposit, as after this period we have already booked accommodations and reserved motorcycles. Please do contact us, cancellations can be addressed on a case by case basis as well.
  • What are the hotels like on the tour?
We only stay in properties that meet the high standards of GOAT Motorcycle Tours. We always choose a nice mix of luxury, cultural, and authentic, with an importance on properties which represent the areas of Morocco we ride in. You can expect a variety of mountain ecolodges, oceanside hotels, traditional riads, and cozy guesthouses. All highly rated, with strong wifi connection, comfortable beds, hot showers, and a bar and restaurant on site.
  • How will I stay connected with things like GPS, emergency calls, etc?
On arrival we will help you arrange for a Moroccan SIM card which you can insert into your phone. Connection is fast and great for use of navigation and research. This of course is only possible if your phone/carrier in your home country allows for this. For example, most American phone companies "lock" their customers into contracts. So please check with your provider before travel.
  • But I have more questions... how can I get more information?
