Goat's Eye

Imagine riding through the great Atlas mountain range on a winding mountain pass. Stopping at Berber villages for a spiced coffee and walnuts just picked from the trees. The smell of the Atlantic ocean as you enter the bustling city of Agadir and the feel of the salty mist as you ride up Morocco's coastline to the enchanting Essaouira. Passing Argan trees filled with not only Argan but snacking herds of goats. Feel like kicking up dust? Some off-roading in Agafay desert will fulfill that desire. Riding without limitations, connecting to the mystical land, an authentic Moroccan experience. This is the Goat's Eye.

DaY 1

Marrakech

Welcome to Marrakech! We provide shuttle to your hotel. From there you will spend the day as you wish: relaxing at your traditional Riad, enjoying the spice markets, getting lost in the old city. But not too lost, we have a welcome dinner to kick off the trip and welcome you to Morocco.

Day 2

Ouirgane

Our first official day of riding will start early with a trip briefing at around 08:30. From there we will shuttle to the motorcycles, get ourselves and our gear adjusted, and hit the road to our first stop: Ouirgane. Arriving just in time for a prepared lunch at our accommodation, we will then spend the rest of the day exploring the area, experiencing local life and relishing in the sounds of Morocco.

Duration of driving: 01h30m

Day 3

Taroudant

Remember that winding mountain pass we talked about? Today our drive will take us there, riding on switchback roads that will leave you feeling invigorated. It's a longer ride today, so of course we will stop at our dear friend Mohammed's for that infamous spiced coffee break as well as a lunch stop. We will arrive at our resting destination by 15:00. Take some time to relax before we head into the ancient town and grab dinner.

Duration of driving: 03h50m

Day 4

Agadir

Post breakfast, we'll start our trip to Agadir at around 10am. It's a shorter drive today, so after a spot of lunch on arrival we have the whole day to take in the Atlantic ocean, Moroccan style. Feel like chilling by the pool or at the beach, or maybe driving 30 minutes up the coast to watch surfers shred in Taghazout, or take a self-guided city tour. You are free to enjoy the day as you choose with us at your service.

Duration of driving : 02h00m

day 5

Essaouira

We hope last night didn't get too crazy in Agadir because we will be hitting the road at 09:00. It's a beautiful stretch of road today, one of our favorites, with many opportunities to stop along the way for coffees and lunch. We should get to Essaouira just before 14:00, check into our accommodation, then walk around and enjoy all this quintessential coastal town has to offer.

Duration of driving : 02h30m

day 6

Agafay / Marrakech

Today is the day we complete the Goat's Eye. Be proud of the kilometers and time you clocked connecting with the authentic Morocco. We'll start our drive at 10:00, riding on the open road for about 2 hours to our final stop Agafay Desert. Wait is that a goat in a tree? No, that's an entire herd. Let's stop for a photo. Now, back to the open road. On our arrival in the desert we will park at a camp for lunch and have the opportunity to do some extras. Fancy a camel ride? Maybe trade the two-wheeler with a four-wheeler and kick up dust on a quad. Maybe just rest from the long trip. Whatever you decide, we will need to get back on the road to finish the last leg to Marrakech. We should arrive at around 16:00, drop off the bikes, check into the accommodation, and rest. Our send off dinner will close out the journey we've had together.

Duration of driving: ~03h30m

02h30m Essaouira to Agafay Desert, 01h00m Agafay to Marrakech
